Ok, this is just too cool.

Found via the Make Blog, as so much fun stuff is, this is a time-lapse shift focus film. It looks miniature due to the use of a “shift focus” lens, which I may have to experiment with someday, but it’s the real world. Awesome!

Sneaky, sneaky family!

In a turnabout-is-fair-play sort of mode, my sneaky wife has collaborated with my folks and arrainged a surprise party here in NOLA. Apparently everybody except me knew, as evidenced by my slack experession when they all yelled surprise!

I am eating well despite this, it is New Orleans after all.

Nice job all, I was totally suckered.

Sneaky, sneaky wife!

So I wake up this fine am expecting to have a reasonably good day at work.

I am then informed by my beautiful bride that instead, we’re going someplace else.

I’m now having to turn this off as the cabin door is closing…

Okay, now I’m in houston but still dunno what the plan is. Life is good.

Oh yeah, my instructable.

I did this instructable a while back. I’m remided of it now by Lois’s assistant who asked if I had seen instructables.com, which does indeed rock. Check out my instructable, and of course the rest of the site here:

It’s just now needed a recharge, a full 10 months after I charged it last. Awesome.
